We are an OT company

OTee

represents the next generation of technology companies in industrial automation. Our core offering is an IIoT platform based on open standards where users can create, program, install, and maintain software-based control systems, including virtual data servers for integration and support of publish-and-subscribe architectures. The platform is a live cloud service for PLC Ops, with built-in cybersecurity and AI for PLC code generation and improvement.

WHO ARE WE

OTee has been recognized as one of Europe's most promising industrial startups by Financial Times' startup publication Sifted, one of the top 20 Industry 4.0 startups in the world by StartUs Insight, as well one of Norway's 10 most promising startups by EU Startups. We have an international team of 9 people, 5 of whom are in Norway (a total of 12 MSc, 3 PhD) with deep expertise in industrial control, software development, AI, cybersecurity, and industrial innovation.

OUR FOCUS

We focus on solving the vendor lock-in problem of PLCs/Industrial Controllers, and the inability of customers to freely integrate the technologies or solutions they want. We do this by digitalizing the PLC level and facilitating it with a new, open data infrastructure based on best practices in modern control system architecture (Pub/Sub, UNS).

Industrial innovation has been held back for decades by the vendor-locked proprietary control systems. At OTee we want to bring Industrial Automation back where it belongs, as a leading tech domain - and put open, industrial-grade, software-based control systems in the hands of industrial engineers.

Mahya Darbandsari

She brings the right mix of skills with her dual master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering and Innovation and Technology Management. Mahya not only gets the technical side of our industry but also knows how to drive meaningful change and identify new opportunities. What sets her apart is her ability to connect the dots between our innovative solution and what our customers truly need, building strong relationships and communicating complex ideas in a way that resonates with everyone.

With a decade of experience in industrial software product management and a strong understanding of the SaaS business model, Jan brings the right mix of technical expertise and strategic vision to our team. His extensive background in product management means he knows how to take innovative ideas and turn them into successful, market-leading products. He understands our users' needs, shaping and leading our product roadmap to not just meet, but exceed their expectations.

Tord van Delft

With a strong background in cybernetics engineering and 12 years of hands-on experience as a system integrator, Tord knows the ins and outs of the industry. He’s been in the field, solving real problems, so he understands what automation engineers need to perform efficiently. By having him on our team, we’re able to offer a solution that is not only cutting-edge but also practical and reliable, giving our users the confidence that our technology will truly make a difference in their day-to-day operations.
